A visit in a pottery - Plein Air Palmela

Yesterday we all enjoyed the chance to visit the traditional pottery FORTUNA in Palmela. Firstly, we got a closer look on the producing process of hand-crafted tiles, vases and dishes. After the theory it was our practical turn to paint tiles. Some beautiful results were created that will stay for the next years on a wall in Teatro O Bando.

Plein Air Palmela - Day 6

What a lovely weather to carry heavy material up the hill! So this is what Stuart did today - with some assistance for sure. But also the other artists used the cool air to hammer, to sew or to rasp in- or outside
